These iconic images, familiar to 60's and 70's Monster Kids, were at one time available as rubber masks offered for sale in the back of a famous monster magazine at the time. Imagine mailing a coupe of bucks and getting one of these gruesome faces back in the mail! I created a new illustration paying homage to the ads of the time, with 9 of these chilling mask designs laid over the top and colored the way I would Imagine them to look. Printed in full color, this work of art feels authentic yet modern.
